Video has now become one of the most important if not the most
important part of your social media, marketing plan. With the
advent of the smart phones and the like video is really come in it
own. Let me give you 4 quick tips to help you videos get found on
YouTube.
Tip One: Get your most important or main keyword in the title. You
can copy or match similar video's titles that are receiving a huge
amount of views, if they are targeting the same target market as you
are.
Tip Two: Do your keyword loading at the beginning of your title if at
all possible. Example: "Commercial Real Estate - Why" rather than
"Why should I invest in Commercial Real Estate?"
Tip Three: The title of your video should contain the most basic
words that people are likely to type into a search box. The title
should also pique interest and make them click on it to found out
more. It's a balance between optimizing your title with keywords and
keeping it intriguing to a user looking at it on the search results
page.
Tip Four: Put yourself inside the mind of your perfect prospects.
they're searching for the information given in your video, so how do
you join that conversation in their mind with your video title?
It is not as hard as it may seem, just always have your target
prospect in mind and the rest will come. Video is only going to get
more attention as time comes, that is why you need to be the one
your prospect finds in the search results box.

4 Key Strategies to Increase Your Profits using Social Media
There are many ways for you and your business to make money using social
media and social media marketing. Below I detail 4 simple yet very effective
ways that you can incorporate into your social media efforts to increase
your Return On Investment (ROI):
Find top industry blogs or sites in your area of interest or target market,
and engage them. Begin to form a relationship with these bloggers by engaging
with them via their blog by making and posting comments and sharing their
information with your friends and fans. A good place to find blogs based on
keywords and topics is on www.technorati.com
Post on your networks top tips that focus on your target market or industry.
Top tips are an excellent way to create content for your posts. You can create
4 tips for doing something that ties into your target market or industry where
you offer a solution to a challenge that they are having.
Spice up your posts by adding your personality to them. Don't make it all
business all the time, mix it up and add some color. Example: I'm drinking
a beer in the Keys as I close a deal."
Forward or Re tweet interesting content and links from other online influences.
One way to build your creditability is to pass along content or a link and
have that person whose information you passed on thank you. I suggest that you
email or tweet that person and let them know you just posted their content on
your network.
These types of strategies will do wonders for your social networks as well as
your business. These types of connections can turn into money. This works for
those business people who understand and implement these strategies. Again, those
that take action.
You get out of social media what you put in, so if you are posting once a week,
then results will be weak whereas if you are posting daily your results will be
more clear. People who are thriving online and with social media have a strategy
and a way to track those results.
They also make it a point to assess their efforts and track what is working and
get rid of what is not. Without a way to track your efforts you will not know
what to change, add, or remove. When you have systems in place, your business
will be able to evaluate things more quickly and with less guess work and in
turn you will become a more efficient and effective social media marketer.

3 Tips for Picking a Topic for your Videos
Visit http://www.phoenixmediagroupllc.com for more information
Video is as you may or may not know is growing at a fast pace. And more and more people want their content delivered via video, so they can watch it on their iPod, iPhone, etc. So in order for you to gather more eye balls as they say you need to give your clients and prospects what they want. Here are 3 tips for picking a topic for your videos.
Tip #1: You must be passionate about the topic. If you pick a topic that you don't know or care about it will show on camera. Take for example the reporter who reports on a story they have no interest in at all, they stumble through the story. You can possible get away with no passion in writing, but you can't pretend on video.
Tip #2: You must want to establish yourself as the expert on the topic. While you are most welcome to create videos online for fun, but if you are doing them for your business, you have to select a topic that you know about. For example my videos are on business development and marketing. Now take Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV, (http://tv.winelibrary.com/) he is an online guru who has a web TV show all about Wines. He has also writing a great book, called Crush It. Gary is passionate about his wines you can see it on the show and in this online spaces.
Tip #3: There must be a market for what you are selling. If you're the only customer, well then you are going to go broke! Pick a topic that people are interested in. What are your girlfriends or your PTA mothers talking about, or for you guys, what are the guys talking about during Monday Night Football. Listen and you may pick up an idea. You need to Google search on your topic and see how many results come up. If a few million come up, you may be onto something. If none or a few hundred come up - run!! Not, not actually you may have to broaden your target market. Let's say that you want to sell basket balls. There may not be a sizable market for videos exclusively on basket balls. There is, however a huge market for learning basket ball techniques.
Until next time - Keep it social

3 Big Mistakes Businesses make with Social Media Marketing
For A Free Consult CALL 734-531-8823
Visit http://www.phoenixmediagroupllc.com for more information
At a recent live event I had a business owner ask me, "Hey that Social Media Marketing stuff, does it work?" And I will tell you what I told him. Many businesses and online entrepreneurs charge into the social networks without having a clear sense of the social media culture, the technology and not having a well laid out plan.
I'm going to cover the 3 biggest mistakes I have seen businesses make in regards to Social Media Marketing and how to avoid them.
Mistake #1: Not having a clear plan or goal.
A lot of business owners and companies just play with or just try one thing within social media and quit. Most of those don't know what they are trying to do or accomplish with this new medium, i.e. set a goal - more views, more downloads, more clients. You have to ask yourself how can I leverage these social media networks to obtain my goals. It is all about building a relationship with your clients. You have chosen to use a new and different medium - social media marketing.
Mistake #2: Leading with a Marketing Conversation.
I find a lot of newbie's charge right into these social networks thinking that they can just simply advertise their business and people will come. I liken it to a backyard BQ, you wouldn't walk up to the first person you met at a BQ and start telling them what you do and if they want to buy, would you? I hope not. You would start with small talk and then lead into what do you do. Don't make it about you or your product make it about the relationships. Using social media marketing to advance your business goals doesn't change this fundamental rule. You must provide some sort of value first and foremost and if you did your job correctly they will become raving fans.
Mistake #3: Not using these networks effectively.
These social networks are where conversations happen all the time 24/7/265 days a year. It is absolutely critical that you are aware of the "community effect" within each network. One way to add value to the social networks' community is to ask questions, and answer questions, share an interesting link to a story or video. Again start by building a relationship by giving; sharing and then they will become raving fans. They trust you and because you are the expert they then will be business with you.
